    Will compressing remove the text layer?

    No. The tool rewrites the PDF and keeps the text layer intact, so you can still search and copy text. Only image resolution is reduced.

    What file size limit applies?

    You can upload files up to 50 MB. If your deck is larger, split it first using the split-pdf tool, then compress each part.

    Can I choose how much compression to apply?

    Yes. Pick between three presets: Light (200 DPI), Recommended (150 DPI), or Extreme (96-120 DPI). Lower DPI means smaller file size but softer images.
